Welcome to my classroom! I love teaching art courses at Oxford high school.
When I was in high school in Mt. Pleasant, I took every art class offered. I won first place in a state-wide poster contest promoting recycling. I also earned top ratings for playing French horn and was president of the German club.
I have taken many additional courses in areas of personal interest, such as: watercolor, literature, motivation and school law. In the summer, I am a professor for Baker College in Port Huron, teaching prospective teachers how to incorporate art into their classroom teaching.
I have also been a private investigator, earned my monorail co-pilot’s license, and have been a career-long active participant in the Michigan Art Education Association. Out of all of the things I’ve ever been involved in, being with the fun and positive students of Oxford is the best!
